1. How is life in Washington, DC?

Life is busy! The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is always full of holiday preparations, travel plans, filling orders for my shop, and shopping for (or making) gifts. It's also one of my favorite times of year; I love the chill in the air, streets dotted with brightly-colored coats and scarves, twinkly lights, warm drinks, going to see The Nutcracker, and holiday specials on TV.

2. Why do you start a blog?
And how its influence your daily life?

I started my blog because I love art and design and wanted to find other people with similar interests. I also felt like daily life was getting in the way of me making more of my own art and crafts. I thought if I started a blog, it would motivate me to make more time for art and help me to hold myself accountable. I also love promoting Etsy shops and artists I admire. Blogging does take up a lot of time, but it also motivates me to search for inspiration, to work on my photography, and to get out and do more.

3. What is your occupation?
What do you like to do in your free time?

I haven't really settled on one occupation yet. I guess I'm a late bloomer that way! I have degrees in English and Interior Design, and I've worked a lot of uninspiring office jobs to tell you the truth. My dream is to work full-time as an artist and maker. In my free time, if I'm not making things for my shop or blogging, I love reading novels, watching movies, painting, catching up on my favorite blogs, and taking walks with my boyfriend.

4. What make you feel strong and confident ?

Doing things that scare me a little, even if it means taking a big chance. I moved to DC one month after I graduated college, even though I didn't have a job yet and didn't know many people in the city. You'll find that you can do more than you thought you could. Even if everything doesn't work out exactly as planned, you find confidence knowing you dared to go after what you want.

5. What is a perfect day for you ?

A perfect day for me is simple: sleep in late, go for coffee with my boyfriend, go to an art museum, walk around town and maybe take some photos, then pasta for dinner and watching a favorite movie together, even if we've seen it a thousand times.

6. What is your favorite place to have a goo d coffebreak in DC?

There's a joke that there is a Starbucks on every corner in DC, and that's almost true. But there are lots of local places to get a good cup of coffee too, like Tryst in Adams Morgan  and if you like Tea, you should check out Teaism in Dupont Circle.

7. Where have you been traveling?
Whats the mean of travel in your life?

I lived in London on a study abroad program when I was in college, and I've been back to visit a couple of times. London will always be my favorite city. I also traveled to other parts of England when I was there, and since then, I've traveled all through France, Italy, and Spain. I've been to the Bahamas, most of the cities on the east coast of the US and a few in the midwest. I still want to travel to the west coast, to Stockholm, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Vienna, Prague, and cities in Latin America too! I could go on naming places forever. I think everyone should travel as much as they can while they're young. Taking that first step out into a new city where the buildings might look strange and you don't understand the language being spoken around you and your life can change in an instant.

8. What is your message for
a better and happier life?

I think happiness is found in little moments every day...when I feel inspired by a painting or read a phrase in a novel that makes my breath catch or maybe just noticing how the light peaks through the buildings as I walk down the street, when I work hard at something I'm passionate about so much so that time slips away, when I create something new, when my boyfriend and I laugh so hard I get knots in my stomach. I think taking time to recognize all the things that are going well in your life (instead of focusing on what's not great) will always make you happier in general.
